My Shopping Experience at Glamira - PART 1 - Big Decisions

This is a blog post about proposing marriage to Amanda (my girlfriend) and my long search for the engagement ring of her dreams...Two months before Amanda’s birthday I was considering about proposing to her on this day. I started making little steps and visited a few jewellery shops. I talked to them, I explained that I was looking for a small but sparkling diamond of high-quality and I understood that buying a ring with a small stone from a local jeweller was nothing affordable for a student working only part-time. In addition to this telling that I don’t know the ring size of my girlfriend, they told me that the resizing of a ring would last for about 5 to 6 weeks and would cost extra money, because of all the same steps the ring has to go through again. That meant no result from the local shops and ended up with a great disappointment... Wondering how to find the engagement ring for Amanda, I decided to search on the Internet. What I have found:
Kataoka had the most stylish and attractive website in my eyes and that was the reason for starting to search on this page first. Unfortunately, the collection didn’t meet my requirements and didn’t fit my imagination at all. After having a look at the other three online jewellery shops one essential feature caught my attention: The option to customize all products depending on my preferences at Glamira! They seemed to be the most professional company comparing to the other ones. In addition to this there was such a wide range of rings with so many beautiful designs. And the website included so many product details, nevertheless very comfortable and easy to handle... I was really impressed.

I have to mention that I always search for some information before I purchase, especially on the Internet! I searched for the reviews of all four companies and what was the result? They were okay. I have observed positive and negative reviews, luckily the positive ones were richly available. You can see negative comments for each one of these companies but what I have recognized was that only Glamira was responding to them. Apologizing for the inconveniences and showing interest to fix them. I was satisfied, after reading the Glamira reviews, that their responses aim to resolve problems and I got an impression that they are competent people knowing what they do. I noticed that the other companies didn’t even reply and this made me feel a little uncomfortable.

One other thing that I have to mention about them is that they reach many countries of the world by having almost every language on their website. Even those who are not specialists in relation to jewellery can understand what they are going to purchase. All details and features like the quality and colour of gemstones are given in a very simple language that you understand what they meant. Resizing and even return of the products seemed to be easy to carry out; options which local jewellers didn’t even offer.

All in all I set for about half an hour in front of my laptop and read a lot of Glamira reviews... I have to admit that some negative comments made me hesitate for a second but the positive ones were a lot more and that made me think that Glamira is trustworthy and asking myself if the customers were a little too sensitive?

Though I had very little insecurity, the professionalism of the website and the products you could adjust depending on your wishes led me to place an order at Glamira.

Very soon I'm going to write the next part of this journey. Stay tuned for more!
