The Rest of Glamira Experience

Image
PART 3 - Marriage Proposal Part 1 and Part 2 . Finally, the big day came to carry out the surprise. I have organised a romantic dinner for Amanda’s birthday with some nice rose petals and candles on the dining table in a location with dimly light. Everything was as desired… After cutting the birthday cake it was time for gifting Amanda. Of course, she had no idea what was coming. I think she was expecting a gift similar to the previous ones. Though that moment of kneeling on the floor, opening the gift box and proposing to her made me really nervous, I will never forget Amanda’s expression when she saw the ring. How her eyes went wide and how a big smile appeared on her face. She was absolutely overwhelmed with joy because she didn’t expect this at all. PART 4 - Impression As I already mentioned; I really liked the ring. And so did my fiancĂ©. She fell in love with the infinity symbol engraved beside some special words (can’t tell you what) inside her ring. We are

My Shopping Experience at Glamira - PART 2 - Order and Arrival

Image
This is Part 2 of our journey. You can check out Part 1 here . I decided to order this ring fitting exactly to my expectations including a free engraving with letters and also symbols! Because of the possibility of free resizing, I felt relieved to order an average size for Amanda as I didn’t want to ruin the surprise by measuring her finger. All I needed was a diamond ring to propose. I could deal with the size later. Estimated arrival of my product was 7 working days after placing the order. 4 days have past and the only email I received was as I guess an automatically generated email when I purchased, which said that I would get a tracking number to follow the shipment of my order, which I should have received already until this time. No further information about my order and no tracking number, status still ‘processing’. Similar to the negative comments I have read before. This really upset me and I wrote the customer support many many times asking when I would get t

My Shopping Experience at Glamira - PART 1 - Big Decisions

This is a blog post about proposing marriage to Amanda (my girlfriend) and my long search for the engagement ring of her dreams...Two months before Amanda’s birthday I was considering about proposing to her on this day. I started making little steps and visited a few jewellery shops. I talked to them, I explained that I was looking for a small but sparkling diamond of high-quality and I understood that buying a ring with a small stone from a local jeweller was nothing affordable for a student working only part-time. In addition to this telling that I don’t know the ring size of my girlfriend, they told me that the resizing of a ring would last for about 5 to 6 weeks and would cost extra money, because of all the same steps the ring has to go through again. That meant no result from the local shops and ended up with a great disappointment... Wondering how to find the engagement ring for Amanda, I decided to search on the Internet. What I have found: bluenile.com/uk    thejewellerys

British Food

Image
British food is very specific and unusual for the new ones here in Great Britain. I needed some time to get used to it.. Because who else is eating beans for breakfast? Sounds pretty weird but normal life for those living here. And I have to admit. It is not that bad how it sounds :) After two years of London I can say that I really like British food and its taste. This post is going to include some of the most popular British foods. Fish and Chips is the number one among the British and tourists. The most important point is to choose the right fish - Cod or Haddock. Fried fish and chips sound like an easy recipe, but it gets delicious with vinegar sauce... The must-have of this food. English Breakfast As I already mentioned ... Who else than the British are eating beans for breakfast? Baked beans are the must-have for a breakfast, like the vinegar sauce for fish and chips. Other components of a traditional English breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, black p

Dubai - Biggest, Tallest and Costliest

Image
To describe your experiences and express your feelings about Dubai with one or two pages is quite difficult. It is one of the most extraordinary and unique cities in the world with very special features you probably won’t be able to see from other places. The list of the biggest, tallest, costliest and most expensive constructions has probably the greatest amount here. And in fact, Dubai has the most astonishing architecture with those famous skylines and those incomparable buildings. It is also well-known for its stunning beaches, luxury shopping opportunities and lively nightlife. Maybe Dubai is the opposite of most of the cities in Europe like Vienna, Rome, Amsterdam and many others but worth traveling if you are looking for a different experience. The number of places you will visit has no limits and Dubai will fascinate you with its ostentatious as well as incomparable appearance. Don’t forget that the whole city is built on sand! Dubai is an artificial city in the midd
